Jungle Dogs by:Graham Salsibury(Hector Garcia)

Have you ever had someone call you a name because you don't have what it takes to do something. Well Boy Regis is a boy that has a paper route every morning. But he is terrified about the dogs which lurk along the paper route. Boy has a brother that is part of a gang and he isn't afraid of anything, He is always calling Boy a sissy. He tells him weird phrases and that's when Boy has to talk back. He tells him, ''You don't always have to fight to win a battle.'' Will Boy be able to face his fear on the Jungle Dogs? Read the book and find out if Boy is tough enough to face his fear.

I think that the characters in this book sound cool. One of the main characters is Damon, he is Boy's big brother. He is s gangsta. He helps Boy in alot of things. One of the times is when he tried to protect him from a big tough guy. Boy doesn't want Damon to help him all the time because he doesn't want to be called a sissy. I think that damon feels that e has to protect his little brother because if his little brother was him and he was his little brother, he would do the same.

Boy is a kid that is brave. He fears the dogs that lurk around his paper route. He is brave because even though he is scared of the dogs, he knows that with all the things that his brother tells him, he can do it. Have you ever been called a sissy?I know and believe that Damon hurts Boy's feelings when he calls them that.

Boys dad sounds like a nice dad and a mean dad at the same time. He screams alot,but Boy thinks that he is very cool,his dad encourages his sons alot. He told both that there was no reason to be scared of dogs. His dad is very cool and I wish that I can have a friend like him.

I don't recomend this book because it is kind of boring. But if you wish to find out what ever happens to Boy, then read the book.
